One-Way Sailing Trips

Sailing holiday one-way

one-way. one sailboat. one crew

One of our skippers got a sailing boat and took her sailing all around the world. Now, after coming back from this circumnavigation, we are going to take that sailboat and explore the coastlines that are off-the-beaten charts in the Mediterranean sea.

On our One-Way sailing trips, we will discover regions away from the typical charter tourism area. Less crowds on land as well as on the sea. Furthermore, on these kinds of trips, we will explore more locations, because the starting location differs from the finishing one. That means more impressions, more discoveries, more culture. The aspect that is “less” on one-way trips is the amount of boats. We have only one yacht. That means less buzz than on a flotilla but more relaxing, more unwinding, deeper connection with the crew.

 If you do not enjoy crowds, nor mass tourism and want to see places that are quietly beautiful and therefore not on the “must see” lists of travel literature, this trip is for you.

 what will you sail on ?

On our offshore sailing trips, we sail on a sailboat Dufour Classic 43. She has circumnavigated the world.
Now she is back in the Mediterranean sea.
Come aboard!

Expedition Sailboat

This is a sailboat that has seen it all. Super well equipped for many weeks offshore. Solar panels, strong batteries, water maker, satellite communications and additional sails (light wind) increase the pleasure as well as the autonomy of sailing.

Boat Layout

We have 4 double cabins, two bathrooms with showers, an outside shower at the swim platform, a saloon with fridge, cooking place and all the standard equipment on a sailboat.

one Crew

7 people and the skipper fit onto that sailboat. One crew makes it easy to coordinate the daily schedule, allows great relationships to form, and go your own crew’s pace throughout the sailing week.

stories about faraway lands

This boat has sailed around the world. The skipper will probably have a story or two to tell 😉

Off the beaten charts

You will visit remote places, away from the typical charter tourism locations. You can count on remote anchorages for yourself.

Methoni – Lefkas

25 May ’24 (14h00) -> 01 June ’24 (09h00)

782€ pp

Starting from Methoni, we sail North to Lefkas. We bay hop every day, visiting Zakynthos, Ithaka and other small islands of the Southern Ionian sea. This is an early summer sailing holiday, so we will have the bays for ourselves. We most probably will make a stronger push on the first part of the trip until Zakynthos. That will allow us to have even more time later in the week to spend time dangling our feet in water, while anchored in some remote bays.

Lefkas – Corfu

01 June ’24 (14h00) -> 08 June ’24 (09h00)

782€ pp

From the capital of the central Ionian islands, Lefkas, we sail North to visit Antipaxos, Paxos, Parga and all the gems surrounding Corfu island. Depending on weather and wind, we can also explore the little islands around Lefkas. That will be decided on the spot together with the crew. We have time to explore, swim, snorkel and enjoy the pre-season emptiness of the area.

Corfu – Zakynthos

08 June ’24 (14h00) -> 15 June ’24 (09h00)

782€ pp

The Ionian sea is such a beautiful sailing grounds that we want to explore it again and again. This time we sail south from Corfu to Zakynthos, visting the Western islands of the chain: Paxos, Antipaxos, south of Lefkas, Kefalonia and Zakynthos. One of the most famous beaches in Greece is on this route!

Zakynthos – Corfu

15 June ’24 (14h00) -> 22 June ’24 (09h00)

782€ pp

One more time we are sailing North along the Ionian Sea. This time on the East side of Zakynthos, Kefalonia and Lefkas up to Corfu. A multitude of small islands is on our way with plenty of beautiful anchorages and Greek ports. It is the time of the longest days of the year during this trip, so we will have a chance to celebrate the summer solstice.

Corfu – Albania

13 July ’24 (14h00) -> 20 July ’24 (09h00)

810€ pp

In the summer heat, we set the sails to go North from Corfu. We are going to explore the coast of Albania, sailing along the shore and visiting ports and bays. Albania is still a new tourist destination, also for us. We never sailed there and are excited to explore this region. Join us for this virgin voyage into a terra incognita for us.

Albanian Riviera

Grama Bay

Albania – Dubrovnik

20 July ’24 (14h00) -> 27 July ’24 (09h00)

810€ pp

On this route, we will visit 3 countries: Albania, Montenegro and Croatia. Starting from Düres, Albania, we sail North and spend most of our time exploring the beauty of Montenegro: Kotor, Budva, Sveti Stefan. This mountainous country will show you the beauty of high summits next to the sea, it feels like sailing the Norwegian fjords. Just warmer :). From Montenegro it is not far to Dubrovnik. We suggest to reserve some time after the trip to explore this beautiful town!

Sv. Stefan

Dubrovnik – Split

27 July ’24 (14h00) -> 03 August ’24 (09h00)

810€ pp

On this Croatian classic we do some island hopping between Dubrovnik and Split. These two towns are the most visited cities in Croatia for a reason: beautiful old architecture featured on UNESCO lists and more than 300 sunny days per year make them must see locations. On our way we visit Mljet islands, Korcula, and Hvar with beautiful bays and smaller (but not less beautiful) coastal towns. If you have only one week and would like to see most of Croatia, this is the trip for you.
